Our Journey So Far

In September 1978, Lapointe & Fils, a transportation company in business in Quebec's Lotbiniere Region for over 24 years, decides to embark on a new path : Transport VA - specializing in the transportation of furniture - is born. Its growth is phenomenal.

To meet the needs of its ever-growing clientele, Location VA is created : furniture manufacturers now have access to customized truck rental services to ship their products to Ontario and the United States.

In August 1981, the company unites under the banner of Groupe VA.

In 1997, strengthened by its achievements, Groupe VA establishes a fifth company, Transport VA Ontario, located in Brampton, near Toronto.

VA is proud of having become one the major specialized transportation companies in Canada. Its drive and its willingness to satisfy every customer pushes VA to excel and develop new services in the fields of transportation, distribution, warehousing and logistical services.
